The Anti-Cruelty Society's 15th Annual Walk for the Animals

April 29, 2009 – This Saturday (May 2nd, 9AM), join animal lovers from across Chicago - most with their dogs! - at Lincoln Park at Montrose Harbor for THE ANTI-CRUELTY SOCIETY'S 15TH ANNUAL WALK FOR THE ANIMALS! This walk helps to raise funds and awareness for The Anti-Cruelty Society, Chicago’s comprehensive, open door humane society.
Activities include canine obstacle and agility courses, demonstrations, exhibits, and free product samples from our small business sponsors, family fun in the Arts & Education tent—plus free snacks, souvenir photos, 50/50 raffle, contests with prizes awarded, and much more!
JuvenesseSpa will provide comfort for humans while their “best friends” receive massages during the a 5k/3.2 mile walk!
When a client comes to Juvenesse for treatment, they are not just taking care of him or herself, but helping to take care of the world. A portion of all profits goes directly to support PeaceJourney. JuvenesseSpa works in conjunction with PeaceJourney, a non-profit program that guides global friendships among children of the world through communication and cultural tolerance on trips to select foreign countries.
